| Abstract | This article tries to provide a partial answer to the question of what players like in judges when they make a ruling. The admittedly non-comprehensive answer given is confidence. The article then goes on to discuss some pro's and con's of being (over/under-)confident and how confidence may interact/interfere with judging. Some rule interactions are mentioned by way of example. |
